How the Senior Services Directory got
started – In the spring of 2002 while in the Henderson business
license office I noticed a brochure with services for seniors
in Henderson – I thought they were great services and some that
my mother could use as well. When I researched government and
non-profit organizations that offered services for seniors I
found that none of them had an advertising budget. The next
question was, “How do we let the seniors know they have these
services available?” I had the vehicle and the ability to
distribute the information and I could update it quarterly.
That was the answer.
The Senior Services Directory is the
heartbeat of the publication and the driving force throughout
Nevada.
